Elvis Presley News – November 2025: A Warm Look at What’s New for Elvis Fans
For those of us who grew up with Elvis Presley’s voice filling the radio and his movies lighting up Saturday afternoons, it’s comforting to know that the King is never far from our hearts. Even decades later, Elvis continues to bring people together, and November 2025 has given fans plenty to smile about.
The biggest and most exciting news is the announcement of a brand-new Elvis film, planned for release in theaters in 2026. Director Baz Luhrmann has confirmed that the film will be distributed by Neon in the United States and Universal Pictures International worldwide. This project is especially meaningful because it uses rare, unseen concert footage and aims to fulfill a dream Elvis never had the chance to live out — taking his music around the world. Luhrmann has spoken warmly about wanting this film shown not just in major cities, but also in small towns, just as Elvis himself would have wanted. Considering that Luhrmann’s 2022 Elvis film earned nearly $288 million worldwide, it’s clear that audiences of all ages still want to hear Elvis sing.
Back home in Memphis, Graceland remains a place of living memories. The annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony will take place on November 20, followed by two days of music and special events across the street at the Graceland Entertainment Center. Earlier this fall, Graceland was beautifully lit in pink to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month, reminding fans that Elvis’s home continues to support meaningful causes.
Looking ahead, book lovers have something special to anticipate. On August 4, 2026, a new hardcover book titled Elvis Presley: Dressed to Rock will be released. Filled with over 150 items from the Graceland archives, the book showcases Elvis’s famous jumpsuits, capes, belts, jewelry, and original designer sketches. At the same time, Graceland has refreshed its popular “Dressed to Rock” exhibit, adding 50 newly displayed jumpsuits, marking the first major update since 2022.
Music collectors are also being well cared for. Sony Music has released a special red and black marbled vinyl edition of From Elvis in Memphis in the UK. Meanwhile, the Follow That Dream label has begun reissuing sought-after titles, including Good Times – The Outtakes on ocean-blue vinyl, perfect for fans who missed earlier releases.
Even modern gadgets are getting the Elvis touch. A limited-edition portable cassette player, inspired by the 1968 Comeback Special, has been released with Bluetooth capability and an exclusive Elvis Christmas cassette. Only 1,957 units were made — a lovely nod to history.
Of course, not all news is cheerful. A long-running scam involving forged documents and false claims against Graceland has finally come to an end, with the responsible individual receiving a federal prison sentence. It’s reassuring to know that Elvis’s legacy and family have been protected.
As November draws to a close, one thing is certain: Elvis Presley continues to sing to us — through film, music, memories, and the community of fans who still say, “Thank you, thank you very much.”
